Neil, In the AK hand I think the only play for the river is to shove. A click-it-back leaves no air in your range. With the 77 hand right after I think a good play is to still flat, then either 4b or shove vs a squeeze. You can play a lot of premiums this way in position and make your range extremely tough to play against as you can then bluff here as well.

Agree with AK that the right play is to raise the short stack allin. Although Ill add that checking back the turn and raising the river makes my line look fos on its own, and Imo it looks so suspicious that I dont think anyone would fold a reasonable showdown hand to a min raise. Though you are right a min raise likely would look less like Im bluffing, I think this is more of a leveling consideration than a fact since if i really thought my opponents were folding to river min raises because I cant be bluffing, I could easily start to do it alot more often until they adjust. I think in this case its more important to be thinking that I can get a larger bet called simply because of how uncredible my line looks, more than being concerned about betsizing being what makes it look like i can be bluffing or not. 77 again agree this is a play I'll incorporate a good bit with approx 77-JJ and AQ vs players I know have very high squeeze %'s, but at this time I didn't yet feel like I had a large enough sample size to play 77 so aggressively.
