Hi Alan. Thanks for the great vid. A couple of questions: 1- The 8s7s hand (35m) on the 9s3s2d flop; what would you do if you get raised? you're not playing for stacks like u said, but would you fold or call expecting to get paid if u hit the flush? 2- The 99 hand (45m) on 8d6d3s.flop; if villain calls what would u do on an overcard turn, a diamond, or a brick? 3- When do you consider donking the turn after taking a c/call line on the flop? (might need another video :) Thanks

I should have addressed facing a raise when donking out w/ a weak draw. Thanks for pointing that out. My default is to fold verses a raise. I don't believe that many players are bluff raise this board texture. If I thought my opponent was the type to bluff raise here I would consider calling, expecting him to check back the turn unimproved and I could bet the river w/ a flush or air, check if I caught a 7 or 8.

99 hand: Bet an overcard and brick always, lots of worse hands can call us. Diamond turn I try to check down, I feel like we're over repping our hand if we bet and splitting his range-getting called by better folding out worse. If we have the 9d I like checking even more as we're not giving away much equity to a hand like 67xd.

Turn donking. That's another video, but I really like the flop check/turn donk 75+ flop 55+ turn)verses high flop+high turn with hands like KJ on lower flops. Only donk turns unimproved. I like this spot because these types of players will barrel overcards on the turn a lot so I get paid when I improve. Admittedly the line looks very suspicious but with their wide flop cbet they'll have enough air that really can't do anything and if they call light we still have outs.

Hi Allan From one Donker to another Great video. I use Donk betting for pot control but I will be adding your applications as well. Donk betting is a great way to add to the profits and I agree with you that it's really untapped. Again thanks and it's okay when you go off topic, as your off topic comments are always valuable. Looking forward to the next one Gp

Hi Allan, this has nothing to do with this video in particular, but I would just like to say that out of all the poker training videos across various sites, your videos are as the best. I have improved so much as player from learning from you. Thank you for providing such great content, I would not be where I am without the help of you coaching

Hi Allan, thank you for this another great video. I have a question : at the very beginning of the video, you say that an opportunity to donk may be when "a flop c/raise won't get enough folds". I'm not sure how to apply this because it always seemed to me that players who tend to be suspicous toward a c/raise are pretty much the same players who are suspicious toward a donk bet (I'm just an amateur, btw), do you agee with this feeling or not ? and where you talking primarily about the board texture ? PS : please keep making videos !

As a general rule you are correct.  However the success frequency needed when donking is much less than than when c/r'ing.  Say there is $10 in the pot.  A $6.50 donk needs to be successful ~39% whereas a c/r of $20 vs a 6.50 cbet needs to be successful ~55%.  Verses suspicious type players I feel like a donk is the best of all unappealing choices.  I was discussing this very spot last week w/ a HSNL player who was visiting here.  He preferred a c/call in this specific spot (gutters, backdoors oop verses a suspicious type player), figuring he could c/call w/ any improvement on the turn and bluff the river verses a missed turn barrel.  I'm still thinking about that line but I kind of like it.

Alan, I dont know if this is correct place to ask this question. But I was wondering what do you think about the cold call stats in HEM? I have to admit that I was stuborn and I was trying to build my own hud to use w/notecaddy. I would just use it for a day or 2, then end up right back to your 3 panel hud...lol.  But,anyway I  was just wanting to know what your thoughts was on cold call stats....cold call raiser is the only one that sparks my interest. And thanks for your videos, I think that they are the best on any site!!!!With your stuff my game has grown alot in the past few months,if I only found your stuff before black friday!! Anyway, sorry so long and off topic. Thanks again!

Thank you very much for your kind words.  I don't use CC stats, but I probably should.  I feel like I can estimate cold call frequency by the spread between vpip and pfr.  4% is tight-pp and big broadways.  7% is suited aces and mid suit connectors and off suit broadways.  I adjust those based on positions.  I think this gives us a good general feel.  Using CC stats helps us in our positional accuracy.
