Niman takes a protege under his wing and teaches him NLHE from the ground up! Note: Due to the poor audio and video quality of this video, it is being released as bonus footage. The content was just too good to pass up!

Niman...you are awesome thanks for the videos.... I need your help thinking in these spots 1. Early in the video the protege led out with 89cc on the 57Jss board... What do we do if we get raised...call based on pot odds? or if we flatted in the blinds heads up and check raised and got 3-bet with 8/9 out draw...or in position we raise a c-bet with 8/9 out draw and get 3-bet....I basically don't know what to do if raised...I'm fine with draw + gutter/combos/overs etc...Jam those.

I enjoyed this video, as well. It's great to hear another beginner's thought process and your corrections. It definitely provided additional insight that I think many of us had not previously seen. I look forward to the rest of the series. P.S. The audio really wasn't that bad. I'm glad the team decided not to scrap this because the content itself was truly valuable.

I rated this video 5 stars because it is loaded with sound advice regarding various concepts, especially for relative beginners. Obviously, there are sound and audio issues that would take it out of a five star rating if it were not a bonus video. Also, any videos exceeding one hour are too long for my focused attention. I disagree, however, with your recommendation of calling for a gut-shot on a flush-draw board when, if you hit, there will be a four-line straight.

Niman / Chris - I thought this was an excellent video. The audio/video quality wasn't really a problem at all. Great job from the BFP production team to correct the problems. There was excellent information during each of the pauses, so much so that I found myself stopping the video to jot some of it down in notepad. Keep up the great work guys and good luck at the tables Chris.

wow , just joined after being a free member. I cany vbelieve how well you can teach key concepts. i learned a hell of a lot, my only critique would be to keep the vidoes shorter. maybe 40 mnutes i felt that over an hr is too much. cant wait to see video 2, great job!! ed

Wow, I can't believe this video was uploaded as recently as late april. I just started playing cash again after a break and this series is the holy grail for me. I've tried every other training site and numerous coaches, but stuff is actually starting to click for me after what seems like forever.
