Probably the best video I have seen yet, very very good Ryan. Well organized, easy to understand, and very important information. I don't know if you will cover this in the next video, but maybe some examples of how ICM can actually change the pot odds you need would be cool. Like if you are on the bubble, what pot odds would you need to call for a flush draw in a certain situation? Just an example or two is always nice to really get a point across. Over all extremely good video, looking forward to your future ones to come!

ryan, are u able to tell how much parts this series will have? for now there wasn't much new to me...but if this goes in deep detail, it can be really(!) good (for advanced SNGplayers). it also would be a very usefull information for me if u can predict how many of ur next videos will be 'beginner' content, b/c i have to decide if im quitting another coaching side which i obv pay money for. wasnt expecting sng-content as i buyed BFP account. liked the first 2 parts alot, looking forward to next vids.

The whole idea for this series is so that SNG beginners can get up and running as fast as possible, but I am aiming to make the content very detailed and to provide new information or opinions that experienced players may not have come across yet. While the entire series is focused towards beginner content, I believe that every video in this series from here on out will provide experienced players with new insights, and also like I tried to do with this ICM video I believe we can strenghthen our understanding of the fundamentals along the way

For now, my tentative plan for the rest of the series is:

Episode 3: Intro to Expected Value, which will go from the basics of EV all the way up to advanced calculations that most software programs aren't even able to handle. We will also look at some software in depth, such as SNG Wiz, so that we can see how to get the most from them.

Episodes 4,5,6,7,8 will each focus on play in different stages of the game, Early, Mid, Late, Bubble, and ITM. I am unsure of the order yet, but most likely I will start with late game play, since that will introduce concepts crucial to many other stages. These videos will contain many real hand examples along with the theory, so that we can see how all of this theory is put into practice.

Episodes 9 and 10 will focus on assorted topics such as table selection, bankroll management, variance and "the long run", etc.

Suggestions are always welcomed and I will do my best to incorporate them into my videos.

Thanks Ryan. I have been playing for fun for a year or so, and I love the SnG's, mostly for the reasons you mention in your first video. I absolutely loved your first video, it was a great overview of the strategy. However I was a bit disappointment with this one - I guess it's hard to put the cart before the horse, but I'm still wondering how I will change my play because of ICM. I have no issue with math - like you say it's not that complicated. But if you say that "pros know when to ignore the model and play correctly anyway", is this really important in how you play? I will watch your SnG video shortly to see what it looks like in real life! :-)
