nice vid pretty standard for the most part. 4 me it underlines that even if you are a high thinking pro, there is no point trying to runover the micro stakes as the majority of the players at this level are limited to thinking about their own 2 cards, and as such are unlikely to comprehend what you are trying to represent by bluffing or raising in certain spots. failing to slow dwn is defo my biggest leak, & agree u should not try 2 be a nl400 player while grinding the micro stakes!

Hi Don - I really enjoyed the video. Although there weren't a ton of interesting spots, I think that you made some great points and all of the concepts that you discussed were very interesting. Specifically about taking stabs at limped pots that no one is showing interest in. I definitely used to be in the check it down camp, waiting for someone to show K high and win, but I am trying to be more aware and recognize these situations over the last few months. Keep up the good work.

Hey, Don, whatsup! Your videos are damn good. I have a question, for your preflop strategy, Tables for UTG, Cutoff, Button, obviously the Premium Hands are yellow, what do the darker red (UTG, ATs, KTs, QTs, JTs, QJs) and darker blue (AJo, LJo, QJo, ATo,KTo,QTo,JTo) areas mean in context? (Does it mean that you are playing looser or tighter in adjustment to your table?) One more question, the pinker hands mean that you should not play the hands? I'm just confused. Please respond back soon. TY

Or does it mean that you should raise with yellow? Dark Red? Dark Blue?

Alright, nevermind, I realized that is just PokerStove Software. I just checked out it out because I thought it looked familiar. Keep up the good work! Hopefully I'll make money learning from you.

pretty straightforward advice. The stakes don't require you to make fancy plays so it's good to have this as a framework to hold on to. Little sidenote. Alan Jackson has a video about HUD settings for $1-$2 games. It's a whole different gameflow of course but he has replaced PFR by open raising percentages by position. PFR is just a general number but first to open gives more valuable information by position. He has provided a link in the comment box of that video. If you copy paste it via HUD - player preferences - import you can automatically use his configuration
