Hi, and thanks for another entertaining and educational video. After watching first part of this match and the first minutes of this part, I am wondering why do you think limping the button against an aggresive opponent is the correct adjustment to be made. Wouldn´t be better to minraise and widen our 3bet calling range? We would have position against him, and a range stronger than him. What do you think of 4b with a polarized range from time to time?

Luciano- You're very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. I think that limping and minraising are two very legit options to counter a light 3bettor. When someone is 3betting very wide, I like to start limping more, hoping hat they don't notice I'm playing differently (I limp sometimes normally) and continue to 3bet a ton against my now very strong opening range. 4betting polarized is a mandatory adjustment as well. The reason I didn't here is because I thought I was playing Isser who calls 4bets.

interesting play to 4 bet and get it in w/ weak PP's (44-77, etc). seems to be a somewhat popular strategy. everyone says it would be terrible to 4bet/fold. once u get 5 bet, though, it seems very close. even if u KNOW for certain that he has a range like AA-99, AJs+, AJo, KQs, 87s (or something similar), u have around 36% equity. if u 4 bet to 50, u need 37.5% equity w/ 100bb stacks. u 4 bet to 5300, so then it would be extremely close.

Squiz- It would definitely be easier to 4bet jam 44, but I like the smaller 4bet as part of my overall game. I think his 5bet jamming range will be a decent amount wider than the range you game him. I'd expect to have about 40% equity against his actual range.
