I don't think that Don is any less likely to have high cards in this spot than normal. If anything, when people take aggressive actions on multiple tables, it almost guarantees they have a strong hand on at least one.

Thanks Dr! I think that adding a small bet to our game isn't a bad idea against his ranges. It will get us some cheap folds. I guess we need to figure out exactly how weak he is checking. If he's checking a lot of marginals that he will talk himself into a river call with when we bet small, clearly we should stick with the big bet. I'd say experiment with it and see how he reacts.

Phil, you are the greatest producer in the business hands down. I have a question for you.
At ~9min - Don gets check raised on the turn on 25TssQo after c betting the flop. You state that it is a very clear call for you because our opponents value check raising range crushes ours. I have no doubt that is true, even though it is fairly tough for our opponent to have sets as we have blockers. Are you happy folding blankish rivers just because you don't think he bluffs bricks on the river, thus allowing you to play somewhat perfectly vs him? Wouldn't calling the turn and folding most rivers make the turn call thin based on that assumption ( it would seem like everything apart from an Ao or 9o is a good card)? I assume without the straight redraw we are folding the turn?
Can you please contrast this to ~5.30min when you elect to bet/call the turn on q67rtss with kqt4ss, or raise call if our opponent had led. I t seems his value range here again crushes ours, and to me, I usually prefer flatting this latter example as we aren't worried about being bluffed off the best hand on as many rivers because we make a flush on a lot of rivers. Or does your thought process revolve more around 'well if we are behind we have more outs' rather than perhaps being forced to fold a potentially best hand on a bunch of rivers in the previous example. I hope that made sense, just trying to clear up my thought process in these spots. Thanks for your time Phil, keep up the good work.
