25:38 Would you agree that a very small bet would be good to exploit his extremely weak checking-range, so that we could be bluffing very cheaply when we have absolutely nothing, and in this case balance our "small-betting" riverrange and probably make just as much money of him occasionally calling as we do from a somewhat unlikely riverbluff by him? Super video again, great work, keep it up!:D

31:30 In zmb shooes i think i would have been floating a lot on the ak4r board since don 3bet on 3 tables on the same time, indicating that he probably doesnt have high cards on at least one table. Since both a and k came out, its little less likely he has these top cards on that specific table --> a foat then small-ish turn bet would be good with a ton of air from zmb when checked too...Would`nt that be a good plan for zmb here?

I don't think that Don is any less likely to have high cards in this spot than normal.  If anything, when people take aggressive actions on multiple tables, it almost guarantees they have a strong hand on at least one.

Thanks Dr!  I think that adding a small bet to our game isn't a bad idea against his ranges.  It will get us some cheap folds.  I guess we need to figure out exactly how weak he is checking.  If he's checking a lot of marginals that he will talk himself into a river call with when we bet small, clearly we should stick with the big bet.  I'd say experiment with it and see how he reacts.

Excellent stuff. I especially liked your analysis when you stress which type of hands to 4bet with. I often find myself getting carried away when faced with an opponent that 3bets at high frequencies, and choose to 4bet hands that are probably pretty bad. I'll justify it by saying i'm being balanced and deceptive. Like Don's 2378ds and 3567ss. Do you think when playing 100BBs deep that type of play becomes more effective? Or is it something that shouldn't be a part of our game plan against aggressive opponents? Keep up the great work! I for one certainly won't complain about more PLO videos!

Phil, you are the greatest producer in the business hands down. I have a question for you.

At ~9min - Don gets check raised on the turn on 25TssQo after c betting the flop. You state that it is a very clear call for you because our opponents value check raising range crushes ours. I have no doubt that is true, even though it is fairly tough for our opponent to have sets as we have blockers. Are you happy folding blankish rivers just because you don't think he bluffs bricks on the river, thus allowing you to play somewhat perfectly vs him? Wouldn't calling the turn and folding most rivers make the turn call thin based on that assumption ( it would seem like everything apart from an Ao or 9o is a good card)? I assume without the straight redraw we are folding the turn?

Can you please contrast this to ~5.30min when you elect to bet/call the turn on q67rtss with kqt4ss, or raise call if our opponent had led. I t seems his value range here again crushes ours, and to me, I usually prefer flatting this latter example as we aren't worried about being bluffed off the best hand on as many rivers because we make a flush on a lot of rivers. Or does your thought process revolve more around 'well if we are behind we have more outs' rather than perhaps being forced to fold a potentially best hand on a bunch of rivers in the previous example. I hope that made sense, just trying to clear up my thought process in these spots. Thanks for your time Phil, keep up the good work.

The best videos is the ones where you're being "rambly". We like to hear your analysis and thought process rather just what your consider the best play. This way we can extrapolate the play in a single hand to a huge variety of spots.

Phil- I play 50PLO & 100PLO H/U and Ive been having trouble with the following: 1)senseless euro-aggression usually coupled with herocalling or turning weak made hands into bluffs with a high frequency 2)extreme nitty passive play with plans to play almost every hand post flop in a pot-controlling & bluff-catching manner 3)c-bet 90%+ 4)button limp/calling especially as a counter to hero's 3 betting 5)any other minimally thought out low stakes tactics could you advise on what adjustments you would make once you notice each of these trends....thanks a ton!

Very nice and thank you very much. I liked the pace of the first part more. Rambling is good but not about preflop play.

@ ssslinpsslide: Although I beat the games on FTP somewhat easily, but with european sites I have lots of problems and I am there a loser, and this exactly because of what you did mention. There are also some very passive players (aggression frequency of 15-19) who all of the sudden turn their hands into bluffs or just randomly bluff cause they did feel like bluffing (especially on the river).
