not related to the content, but I really don't think making a video at 400NL on FTP under the OMGCLAYAIKEN name is really optimal. These guys know who you are, that they are on video, will definitely alter their play as a result, and the video suffers as a consequence. You made a Cake vid once - I think you should make midstakes vids on there and switch up your name every time or leakfind someone else's midstakes vid. I don't even play NL, just my $0.02

What is your reasoning for very small 4B sizing (he made it 36 you made it 78) in the 99 hand vs "Vluff" COvBN? Are you not worried about getting flatted oop? He may occasionally 5B small and fold to jam with that sizing, but probably much less often than he floats or even finds reason to 5jam light vs a larger bet. Very curious if this sizing (basically 2.2x his raise, giving him excellent odds with JTs+, KJo, etc) is your standard in this very common spot with 100bb oop.

I was suprised that you went to a light valuebet against a player who you suspected to be a fish. This might be result oriented by me now but I just can't see how you could get light value in this spot with that bet sizing from presumed fish and fishy player might actually have J pretty often here. I think the best is to check and ship the pot often or bet very small that you could get a call from weaker hand. Just that nice max abuse jazz etc.. I don't see any reason to be balanced here.

Very helpful! I think that raising with KTo instead of floating when he leads on dry flop is slightly more EV than calling. You have fold equity and you can barrell off so many turn.

OMG at varying stakes/games ++! I'm not worried if your assumptions of the level are wrong, b/c we still hear how you react to situation X (whether or not you are actually in situation X). Plus we can chirp in on assumptions. I still think that playing a different account/site would be +. If you play as OMG, you should recheck your "they are playing 12 tables" assumption, in case they notice you and close out other tables mid way thru. Would love to see u play 3/6, 5/10 *FR*.

DeepJR, I think 90ish would be a better 4bet size. I think I was trying to make a play quickly and made a mistake.

Possu- I wasn't too confident before this hand that he was a fish. However, your point about me worrying too much about balance is absolutely true. Even if he's not a fish, I don't need to be as worried as I usually am about being unexploitable.

datino- I think this is close. I lean towards liking my float better, since I get to realize my equity more (in case I'm 3bet on the flop), and I get to see how he reacts to various turn cards before putting in more money.

One of the very first hands you open KdJoff, and bet the turn on the Jc9d3dQd board This was a blind battle. Are you comfortable getting KJ in here on the turn?? When I first saw the hand, I leaned towards check calling the turn. Is this weak poker? Is there a big difference in EV from check calling turn and betting turn?

Great Content, I enjoyed it. But can you please downgrade your hud. About 85 percent of the stats you have on that hud there cannot be used unless you have over 200 + hands even then its still very marginal to gain any read whats so ever from those stats. Example the 4Bet stat and 3bet stat wont be very clear until 500 plus hands. I found it to be to much clutter and at times I could not even see the villians whole cards at Showdown.VPIP PFR # hands thats all you need. TY sir.

you really overused the HUD.. I flame people for posting random stats like c/r flop after only 1000 hands, but you are looking at your hud with 5 hands to go which is frankly retarded I thought it was a bit slow/boring overall, though some hands were interesting.

I agree the T9 valuebet vs the half stack is too thin. A fish plays all better combos of Tx than Tx and prob not many worse, and hoping a fish hero's 3rd pair is overly optimistic imo. I think its a big diff you're not used to playing 2/4 or 3/6 vs 10/20+. You don't need to be balanced here, esp vs a fish whose hero-calling range still beats T9 quite often.

Just looking back at this video and comments from a while ago. People talked about using HUD stats too soon. I used to be the kind of person that didn't even look at VPIP until 30 to 50 hands and waited even longer before using other stats, but I recently heard Jose "Girah" Macedo say that one of his strengths is adjusting to his opponents fast. He says that many players don't adjust fast enough because they don't fully understand the implications of Bayesian probability. You can start adjusting to ANY amount of information and you just let each and every new hand reshape your image of that player. While the reads won't be as accurate, you might be playing more optimally 60% of the time against that opponent while the other 40% (when the opponent actually is a nit) you might be playing a little less optimally, but you still gain from making no adjustment at all. Just a thought.

hi phil can u explain me why u bet river with KJo?there are a lot of draw that villain could have hit on the turn and i really don't understand what's his calling range turn that fold river. I think valuebet river in that spot is -EV because i really don't find any reasonable worste hands that call u and no better hands that fold. i would be happy if u can explain this type of situation (i made a similar question in a similar spot with Martin). Ciao
