Re: Phil Galfond Live at 25/50 NL
You open A6dd in CO and get 3-bet by SB (125bb deep) and you peel, flop comes 5K7ss and SB cbets. You mention it's okay to attack these flops cause he can't really do a lot about it with some of his hands. (although you fold this time)
But I'm just wondering how you'd go about balancing your range for both raising and calling here. I assume you want to have some sort of stronger hands in your calling range to catch bluffs/light value bets etc and the same thing for raising? Basically, what are the factors in deciding wether I should raise or call with a hand, or is it more of a gameflow or randomization thing (like value raise hands with spades, call the rest)
Cheers

Phil after hearing your talk about grinding diff games and stuff - just how good are the midstakes PLO games? If I were to switch from NL (I only play like 1/2NL) today it would take me around 6 months to break even or to beat midstakes plo? My guess is this is tough to answer because you don't know how intelligent or non intelligent I am but do your best :)
Thanks.

Here I would be also interested why you did not flat pre when you are not comfortable to 4bet/C it pre b/c you think that he will not bluff4bet with these positions too much...?
I doubt that he will call OOP many worse hands vs. your 3bet...

Thank you for the vid here - rly good job!
Min. 4 – A9s:
I would like your plan to barell it here off when you would be the BB, not the SB.
The thing is that when the BB is an aggr. REG (Idk this, but if this is so), you probably would 3bet most of your broadways pre instead of calling it(?).
So you maybe cannot in reality rep here so much hands…
Min. 12 – A3s:
Is C/Jamming on the flop an option here to also trap in stabs from some broadways of his 3betcallingrange?
Or do you thing that something like for example KQ would not stab here too often b/c in your 3betrange are obv. many Ax-combos which could go perceived for a C/Jam?
As played,
Why you jam here the river? Just to maybe make sometimes chops folding in combination with the fact that you anyways cannot C/F?
Min. 53 – J9s:
I would like here a donkbet on the flop with many parts of m range if the Board would have been for example a KQXs, QJXs..., type of board b/c these are boards where ppl do not cbet a wide range in this spot.
But on a AKXs-Board, Villain will cbet a wide range -> hence I think that a donkstrategy with any part of your range isn`t for an overall gameplan so good.
I mean, I woul prefer to C/R here my combodraws, valuehands b/c of the fact that Villan will here cbet a lot.
