Hi Niman, really like your videos!
Just wanted to ask something about the AQ hand at min 22:19 on table 4.
You say you prefer leading the flop because we are in a guessing game when we check/call the flop on a lot of turns. Aren't we still in a guessing game when we lead the flop on these turns? He will still have Flushdraws and KhQx type hands so we basicly just bet out air of his range so he might hit the broadway/heart turns even with a higher frequenzy.
If we lead and a heart hits the turn would you check/call or keep barreling? I really like a lead too but especially because it allows us to lead with GS/FDs too, as you said.
Another problem I see if we lead / and what me always prevents doing it, is that by just raising villian can put us in a really tough spot even with AQ (on later streets) and ofc. fold out our weak draws and we are in a guessing game again.
It would be really great if you could go a little more into detail whats your plan on various turns after leading and how you would react to a raise. Thank you in advance and again for your great videos!

It's 3-handed and we are holding AsQh in the SB and decide to just flat against a 2,5x BU OR.
The BB folds and the Flop comes Ah4cTh
Hero checks and you say you'd prefer leading ... (as decribed in my recent post)
Thank you in advance for your help!

OK - those are great questions. If we lead here, our perceived range is going to be aces (strong like we have as well as weak ones) and flush draws in addition to hands like KQ, QJ, etc. But if we check and call, our perceived range is going to be more heavily weighted towards aces and flush draws - since it will usually not be a good idea to check call with KQ or QJ on this board in these positions.
Checking to raise is a very bad idea, because if he calls our checkraise, he can not only easily be slowplaying a hand that beats us, but there are so many ugly cards in the deck (kings, jacks, hearts, etc) that leave us uncertain about our standing in the hand. Having seized the initiative, we either have to follow through blindly (which is reckless) or we have to check and leave ourselves in a guessing game on any one of many bad turns.
If we check to call, his range is essentially any two cards, so we really don't know where we stand if he continues to barrel on many cards that coordinate with the flo. We also run the risk of him checking back and taking a free card with many hands that can hit something quirky on the turn for free.
Leading out clarifies his range a little more, charges him for gutshots and the like, and allows ourselves to take the initiative without having to appear weak by giving it up later in the hand.
Great questions: I hope that make sense!

Yes bhtopspin, based on the details that you are providing me, this is indeed an easy call. I'm not really sure what I was thinking or if I had misread the stacks or the board when I thought it was a tough decision. Sorry for the confusion.
