@reversejinx the 79dd on ATT could def be a cbet (and is prob +ev in a vacuum), but betting for that reason doesn't take into account some important factors like our cbetting strategy range vs range and the many ways our opponents will defend vs our cbets, either in the form of a float or c/r (ie plenty of high card hands will almost never fold to a cbet here--then how often can we barrell on a board like this etc etc). The J8 on Q6Ar can work as a deceptive check repping sd value, since most players would expect a hand like J8 to cbet--and when we bet this board our perceived range is somewhat polarized. Anyway, the important thing to take away from these examples is that we should be flexible with our decision trees--79dd can be a cbet or a check, J8 can be a cbet or a check, I don't think we should limit ourselves to playing a certain cbetting strategy everytime.
@HustleHard semi standard--ATo is a light 3b/5b but early in a match without much info against someone willing to play multiple tables I'd like to find out how my opponent is defending vs my 3bets asap--I have plenty of FE (moreso when its early). PS later in the video I flat AQ instead of 4betting. This is a close/tough spot though and I think fold/call/jam are all reasonable.

@reversejinx i think that would be pretty consistent with our flop check + his turn check
@Renaud123 thanks, 2x has pretty poor equity against a betting range on a boardpair turn so i lean towards folding here, we'll have plenty of continuing hands--and people will start to 3barrell these boards a lot more often if we're calling all our 2x here. Good point about 23s vs J8o, think both hands become better 4bets at >130bb

To clarify, you'd delay cbet 79s with no additional equity on blank turns readless? I want to make sure I understand because I tend to cbet all my air there and this is a strange situation.

Are you more concerned with a player exploiting your betting or checking range on this flop?

@reversejinx yes, as played I think delayed cb is fine on almost any turn (keep in mind 20 of them give us a piece)
@youcallitsover thanks, glad you think so
