I feel embarrassed that I can't play more than 2 tables with good focus.

i think its pretty sad that you sit at 8 hu tables waiting for action...your the reason poker is in a bad state, think about it

Hey Assad, I finished watching the video and I'm confused about you not cbetting 79d on ATTr. You explained that it hits the BB a lot, but I don't see why this would be so much more advantageous for the BB. The BB 3bs AT+ probably and we can still have every Ax. But even outside of that, isn't cbetting just going to work often enough there in a vacuum? How are you going to win the pot after you check back there unless you turn a draw or a pair? Good video & thanks!

I also see you check back J8 on Q6Ar. Again, I don't understand why we're not just cbetting to take down the pot with no showdown value.

How standard is 3b/5b w/ ATo really? Esp if later on in the video you are flatting AQ instead of 3betting (although slightly deepish) You need about 40% equity when called coupled w/ close to 50% fold.. he might be folding that much but unlikely to have too many combos of worse Ax or 88-99 he calls off.. Even so.. equity vs 88+, AQ+ and occasional A9s call off gives us 31% equity. What's up Asad?

@reversejinx the 79dd on ATT could def be a cbet (and is prob +ev in a vacuum), but betting for that reason doesn't take into account some important factors like our cbetting strategy range vs range and the many ways our opponents will defend vs our cbets, either in the form of a float or c/r (ie plenty of high card hands will almost never fold to a cbet here--then how often can we barrell on a board like this etc etc). The J8 on Q6Ar can work as a deceptive check repping sd value, since most players would expect a hand like J8 to cbet--and when we bet this board our perceived range is somewhat polarized. Anyway, the important thing to take away from these examples is that we should be flexible with our decision trees--79dd can be a cbet or a check, J8 can be a cbet or a check, I don't think we should limit ourselves to playing a certain cbetting strategy everytime.

@HustleHard semi standard--ATo is a light 3b/5b but early in a match without much info against someone willing to play multiple tables I'd like to find out how my opponent is defending vs my 3bets asap--I have plenty of FE (moreso when its early). PS later in the video I flat AQ instead of 4betting. This is a close/tough spot though and I think fold/call/jam are all reasonable.

I know that we don't hit ATT a lot either but I think even the regs that want to play back vs you a lot will be folding stuff like Q7, J7, etc. Still, I may experiment with not cbetting ATT 100%... the question is, what do you do if you don't hit any kind of draw on a random turn like a 5. Are we delay cbetting?

I am a big fan of your vids, and I still learned quite a bit in this one. A few comments: -you snap fold a2o on 2466 with fd on flop after a turn 2nd barrel (I think), is this truly automatic, it feels like people 2 barrel a ton with gs here or even overs, or you just want to split your range by calling 4x (and 33 obv) and folding below (still seems a bit tight to me), also people don't tend to 3barrel bluff much either this type of board. Would you prefer having K2o in terms of catching bluff equity? -Calling 23s and 4betting j8o earlier after a 3bet looks dirty to me, especially because you insist on gaining information early in a match and 4betting probably won't help you. -You are talking about having some reload issues at merge, yet it was obvious you were short on BR there and had to close some tables. There is no problem about having a short br at this kind of site, it is just better for the viewers to be clear about it. Thanks a lot again for your vids, I look forward to the next part.

@reversejinx i think that would be pretty consistent with our flop check + his turn check

@Renaud123 thanks, 2x has pretty poor equity against a betting range on a boardpair turn so i lean towards folding here, we'll have plenty of continuing hands--and people will start to 3barrell these boards a lot more often if we're calling all our 2x here. Good point about 23s vs J8o, think both hands become better 4bets at >130bb

To clarify, you'd delay cbet 79s with no additional equity on blank turns readless? I want to make sure I understand because I tend to cbet all my air there and this is a strange situation.

Are you more concerned with a player exploiting your betting or checking range on this flop?

@reversejinx yes, as played I think delayed cb is fine on almost any turn (keep in mind 20 of them give us a piece)

@youcallitsover thanks, glad you think so
