FIrst, I've got to say that excellent videos overall. Keep them coming.

Something I'm hoping you could add to your videos - deep play.

Watching ton of videos by BlueFire Pros I think I'm improving tremendously and know exactly what to do playing 10 to 25 bb stack.

I've been satelliting in Sunday Million and 've been sitting on my hands not sure what lines to take with 10k stack and 25/50 blinds. Obviously small pairs and suited connectors are fine - limp/call and hope to hit but what about AK, AJ off in early position, etc.

I'm hoping you could get some of your Sunday Million runs and actually show beginning levels of play.

Again thank you and big fan.

    Maxim.

Thanks for the kind words. Have you watched the WCOOP series? That's pretty deep the majority of the tournament. I will be doing another WCOOP series of the main event which I also went deep in, so there will definitely be a lot of deep play in that as well. Look for that in a couple months.

    Dustin,

Of course I did. Excellent series as well and belated congratulations on your win.

The huge difference was re-buy format. Re-buy tournaments play quite differently and at the end of the re-buy period you built such a huge stack that gave you lots of maneuverability.

    Looking forward to new series.

    Best regards,

    Maxim.

Hey man another great vid. Just a quick question about the spot at 23:00 with 33. Is the 3 bet strictly because the sb is short enough to get it in with plus it looks credible? Or is there any other reasoning behind the spot? As i would never typically 3 bet there if both button and sb had 40 bb or something.

lefebcre- It has more to do with the chip distribution and the fact there are 3 short stacks at the table and we can stack the button, who is relatively deep. 40bbs is a lot of equity to risk on a 4B bluff in that spot so I think we'll take it down very often. And yes, it does help that we have a hand that can stand some heat (a BB shove) so it's clear that we aren't 3 betting with 73o. In a vacuum it's certainly not mandatory but this looks like a great spot to me.

Table 1 at 47:00 wesly with ATs on the button - why is it not OK for him to check the flop and let his opponent stab at the turn (you said "he definitely will have bluffs in his range here so he should be betting")? In previous videos you've explained that the biggest mistake good tournament players make is being too concerned with balancing... so why do you feel he needs to be balanced here? Personally I was thinking that a check actually was the best play in a vacuum because it often gets a stab from the SB soo often, sometimes even 2 barrels. It's one of those spots where it feels really transparent to check AT on AKx, but it still ends up working a TON of the time at final tables (less so during mid stages of the game where people feel less pressure to win pots they enter)... unless of course I know I'm against an observant player, but usually I just check because it gives them an excuse to not believe me at some point in the hand.

@donkrx7- This is kind of an extreme example. We're opening on the button, so we have the widest range possible, and we get pretty much the nut flop to c-bet bluff, and villain appears to be a thinking player. Not betting AT here when we have sooooo many bluffs in our range just seems criminal to me. We're going to get so many loose calls and it's rare that we have the nuts like this. Note AT is very different from A2 here. If we had pegged him as a really spazzy/bluffy player checking back makes sense but against decent players, I think it looks like Ax way too much and we just missed value against KQ type hands.
