I dunno what your cbetrange is, but for mine it would be exploitable to fold the flop. So unless you are pretty confident that you can exploit him by folding here "unoptinally" b/c he is so passive on the flop, I would still peel the C/raise.
But like the idea of checkingback here vs. many ppl instead o cbetting.
btw., what does your cbet-range look like on this flop?
as played, I agree with your thoughts on the turnplay. Competent players will just betthe turn with a reasonable range and will go usually for 3 (never for 2).
Here your RIOs are simply to high to call the turnbet with the river still to come - so I would fold there.
