I was trying to watch the vid and it's frustrating that the quality is so low. For a 4-tabling video there should really be a higher quality option even if it's a large file size. I can't read your HUD and the more tables you play, the more that will matter. Do you think you could at least post a large screenshot of your HUD?

Hrmm, sorry about the picture quality... I'm really surprised to hear this actually. Let me play around with some things and see what I can do.

I can read the numbers but not the text designations so I guess a higher quality screenshot of the HUD is all I need.

    Stats are as follows:

Steal BB / Limp SB / Minraise SB

VPIP BB / Call Steal BB / 3bet

    Fold to 3b / Call 3b / 4b / Fold to 4b

WTSD / Won $ SD / W$SD excluding small pots

    (column 1) CbetFlop Single raised

    CbetFlop 3b

    C/r Flop

    Donk Flop

    Fold to Cbet Single Raise

    Fold to Cbet 3b

Columns 2 and 3 use bet turn oop after missed cbet instead of donk bet, but all other stats are the same. Hope this helps, gl!

Ahhh... just had a detailed post about this video that took me almost an hour to write but got lost upon submission (bad request error blah). Video take: You guys have good synergy and the video had many interesting and instructive spots. These dual cast videos and the videos where hole cards are shown for both players are among my favorites. On 3betting: It seems both of you don't 3b much value without a dynamic and this is surprising to me because a hand like AJ isn't much of a trap anyway. A random 86o is almost 40% vs you. Moreover, you're OOP with deeper stacks and no initiative so you won't even realize your equity as easily as your opponent. Basically, why do you like to do this and how far would you take it? Would you also call KQ or 88 and 99? The way I build a 3betting dynamic is by expanding my bluffing range but the only hands I'd really trap preflop are KK and AA (maybe QQ occassionally). I'll 3bet ~25% readless and include AT+, KTs+, KJ+, QJs+, 88+ at least. I'm not as familiar with HU cash but this is pretty normal in an HUSNG. Are there problems with doing this readless in HU cash at <120bb? BTW: It would be really interesting to see how you guys do in your databases with flatting vs 3betting hands such as AT,KJ, KTs, QJs and 88.

Sorry about it being squished together. It didn't look like that in my post and I can't edit it.

It's meant to be an analysis rather than just a casual conversation so I sure hope they think about everything deeply! I'd certainly prefer it to spitfire-pace rambling. Just increase the playback speed in a program like VLC.

Sorry for the slow response reversejinx, I've been on vacation.

With regard to flatting hands like AJ, it's not necesarily a trap or slowplay - it's just a way for us to strengthen our flatting range.  Having hands like AJ/KQ/QJ/KT/KJ in our flatting range strengthens out entire range and allows us to flat other hands more profitably.  There are definitely situations where I would flat hands as strong as 88/KQ/AQ/99 but for the most part I do prefer 3betting those hands.

There is nothing wrong with your 3betting tendencies as you've described them, but I just prefer to have a more balanced flatting range preflop.  Against a player who has your 3betting tendencies, I'm going to be able to 3barrel pretty fearlessly on lots of different flop textures/runoffs.

Also, it's important to realize this is just the way we like to start the match but our 3betting ranges will be changing throughout a match based on our opponent and gameflow.  If he is opening a wide range and defending lots of 3bets, we are much more likely to start 3betting a lot of these value hands.  On the other hand, if he is a 4bet/fold type player, we may opt to play KQ/KJ/QJ etc rather than 3bet them for value.  Of course in that situation, 88/AJ would probably become auto3bets.
