Hey, good video, I have a few things I wanted to ask. So first, pretty much all pro's or people that know a decent amount about sngs talk about "ICM" . What I gathered from icm is that basically it is horrible to make your decisions based on your odds in tournament chips, because the odds are actually much less then that dependent on stack size/your current equity in the tournament vs your chip value. However, pretty much every single video I have seen, your sng videos and all others, give the reasoning "your getting 2-1 to call, so you should with atc because you have at least that chance of winning in almost all cases" ie, one over card to pair, dominated, ect ect. Basically, I feel like this is a rather mixed message, because ICM says we actually aren't getting odds to call, but pretty much all of you (and myself when I play) use the odds to call people when we are last to act in the big blind, when getting 2-1 odds (given its not a bubble situation and we have a large stack ect ect.) . Now, I am wondering if this is actually +ev, or if it is more or less proper to call with an actual much tighter range, because we technically are not getting odds to call based on ICM. This is just one example where we say we are getting 2-1, and there are obviously many more with similar reasoning, but a lot of the time odds are mentioned in all of these videos without talking about your ICM odds. ***NEW PARAGRAPH*** The other question was how do we send our hand histories? Do we have to format them specifically for a re-player or just request the HH from ps and send it to you? Anyways, I look forward to your response. Good video, I like seeing this type of format, because it helps learning from mistakes, other than just hearing you say what to do. I personally learn best from my mistakes, not from rigorous amounts of studying, once you have lost a significant sum of money doing something wrong, you typically don't do it again haha.

I'm never calling a shove if I don't have odds according to ICM. When I say "you have to call because you're getting 2-1" I'm basically using shorthand for "you're getting odds according to ICM so I would call." I don't call 100% when I'm getting 2-1 when a person shoves, I think in most cases it's correct according to ICM to call with about 60%+ if you're getting exactly 2-1. Also the % you should call with goes up drastically by increasing your odds slightly, so if you're getting 3-1, you have to always call any 2 because you're always 25% to win with any hand vs. a range of hands. I'm a firm believer in SNGWiz/SNGPT being correct basically always. I only use the "I'm getting 2-1 so I call" when someone shoves, not when someone just open raises.

To send in HHs, just attach the file that is saved on your computer. It's always a notepad file, then I just throw it in the replayer and review it. I'm going to be making another couple videos in the next few days so send them in asap and I'll review them.

Chip I know I mailed a thanks but just wanted to say it again. Some very helpful comments for me in here! Just a brief note on some of the strange bet sizes. I use TableNinja in conjunction with a Logitech game controller and can adjust my bet size in 10% or 20% of a big blind usually but sometimes I set it a little different. It does mean I dont really have standard sizes but it takes very little time... Im not typing in the numbers or anything. Generally I stick to 3x early on but with limpers I do kick it up some "random" amount usually. Thanks Again!!
