hey, great series, ive learned a lot. My question would be how you approach 2.5x opens since u will risk only 0.5bbs more which means ur equity with bottom 50% vs top 50% needs 25% and the bottom range as you have shown has more than 30% do you play the same as vs minopens then meaning calling ur top80% as well??

Another one that Im thinking about: What would you change vs minopens in the SB compared to BB since we have to pay more to call + we dont close the action? Which hands would you fold in the SB that you wouldn't in the BB? TY

Hello. Thanks for the series. It's great stuff. A few questions: What's the 4b lower limit where you would 3b/shove TT/AQ? What's the 4b upper limit where you would 3b/fold TT-AQ? What's the spread between FCB and DB that you consider to be "one and done"? What SD range do you consider opponents having FCB c/c lines that are SD prone? Thanks

lolilol87, The 2.5x opens are a bit difficult to counter. I'll 3B as much as their stats will allow and I call a bit wider but no where near what I would vs 2x. In teh SB I have to stay pretty tight vs the min open. All suited broadways, suited aces, pocket pairs, bigger offsuite broadway, bigger suited connectors

Esquilax, For TT vs a 2.5% 4B and we're both in steal positions I'd be happy to get it in. AQs is not a hand I shove much. I'd want an aggressive dynamic and probably a 4B over 3.0%. For 3B folding AQ I'd want someone folding to 3Bs less than 50% and 4B'ing under 2.5%. TT/99 I'd consider 3B/folding vs a sub 50% folder vs 3B and under 1.7% 4B. tbh, I talk about making this play with TT way more than I actually follow through. I think the theory is sound, but it does suck when you get 4B.

Esquilax cont, One and done I usually define as a fcb over 70 and tcb around 40 or lower. You'll regularly find guys that are like 80 and 35, that is ideal. The river c/c determination is a tough one. I usually look for lowish bet river, under 25, and a highish wtsd in the upper 20s. I'd avoid thin value bets, turning made hands into bluffs or bluffing missed draws vs that player. But taht number combination doesn't tell me if he's really a big c/caller, however it's the best I can do w/ the avail stats in HM.

Hi Alan another great series. My new favorite term is "don't put yourself at an information disadvantage. So true I noticed your earlier concept video's are done with early versions of note cady and Holdem Manager. I hope you will consider redoing your concepts using Holdem Manager 2 and newer version of Note Cady in your future series. The concepts you cover in these earlier series are so important to players looking to have a sound foundation. Again excellent series and thank you Gp

I'm likely going to redo my original series next.  So much has change over the past nearly 2.5 years I think it needs to be redone.  Plus the audio on that series is awful.
