had no problems except for some reason at 48 min it stopped working then i just refreshed and it worked great documentary; from the people I wanted to hear. not phil helmuth or something :) well done

To all the unsubscribed haters, the movie is pretty good. The stream is probably bad because the sites subscribed base isn't fairly large and this was highly anticipated, and probably had a lot of people trying to view it at the same time which significantly slows it down.I had to pause it a few times, but it wasn't really that big of an issue, probably added an extra 15 minutes if even to the watch time. The movie gives really little information as far as an instructional video goes, as it is meant for entertainment purposes, but hearing from the people that a lot of aspiring poker players look up to is really quite inspirational. It is really a treat knowing that all of these professionals went through a lot of the same hardships that I have (parents, downswings, non-believers, school, ect ect) . The interview questions were mostly ones that I would have liked to ask myself, and over-all the video itself was really well done. Great job guys, don't listen to all the shit people have been saying about this so far, I enjoyed it and that's all that matters ;). For people only seeing 2 minutes... That is the same for all bfp videos, you need to be subscribed to access this vault of poker pro knowledge.

Very disjointed. Pokerstatic interviews are much more interesting. The site is also not equipped to handle all the traffic, as download speeds for videos have slowed down a lot. Getting random errors too ("SecurityID doesn't match, possible CSRF attack.").

That was very good. When's the sequel coming out? :D I think a follow up highlighting players who had success from 2007 onwards and the nosebleed online players (Di, Hac, Phil Galfond, Tom Dwan to name a few) would be cool. Since those guys are all close friends, that could be a cool documentary. Or you can include just a bunch of the well known guys who've made it to the nosebleeds and had success like Ashton Griffin and Brian Hastings. You could also try to get interviews from some of the guys who came up recently like Daniel Cates, Scott Palmer, and Andreas Torbergsen. That would be a cool documentary I think, about how these players found success in the post-UIG climate.

I enjoyed watching interviews from a wide cast of characters as it allowed many perspectives to accumulate a good description of the game. I remember when I first started out, one of the most captivating pieces of convincing information were the graphs in 2p2 threads of people winning hand over fist at various stakes for sick rates. A quick slideshow w/ some music of million dollars/million hands and several hundred dollar hourly wages, even if anonymous would be pretty cool. Also, I was surprised that nobody mentions the entertainment value of poker as comparable to golf. Think of all the railbirds provided for, pastime card games around the fire w/ grampa, etc. Poker is a game like chess, monopoly, or golf. It provides much entertainment for many people the world over. But enough of my 2c, this vid was well organized and I was able to empathize a lot w/ the points stated (except on much smaller scale ldo).

Sorry I can't remember the name, but there was one guy who's every interview left me thinking "What is he talking about?" He compared losing money to death of relatives. Thats pretty sick, I'm not sure what kind of mind frame it takes to view both the same. To me, the money stops mattering partly because you realize how trivial it is, yet I hope most people don't see family members as trivial. Also, the comparison to Enron left me wondering if he had been caught cheating as some point (a little exaggeration on my part). To me, Russ Hamilton would be a guy who experiences that feeling of "the gig's up", while a good poker player (kind of like Peter Jetten's outlook) thinks, "well those were good times, but I'm still winning and this is still profitable for some time to come." It's more like a miner who's main mountain has yielded its total resources, but there's still more gold, its just harder to find.

It started off with typing the questions in and then it stopped after like 3 questions which was pretty inconsistent... not that I liked the typing of questions anyway; It was too slow. At some points there would be one guy talking but another guy on screen. It cut off people mid sentence and instantly switched to someone else. It would've been good to get an idea of their everyday lives. It would've also been good to get some interviews from the other end of the spectrum.. the guys who turned "pro" but are breaking even/losing at 100nl. Overall it was pretty poor.. though I did find it interesting but thats because listening to top players talk about poker is always gonna be interesting.

Lol at people not getting that you have to subscribe to be able to watch, so fkn retarded to not get that hahaha... I had not problems whatsoever watching it, maybe because I didnt watch right as it was uploaded but who knows. Concerning expressions about poor quality I do not agree, found it very watchable. Good poker entertainment in my opinion, If youre watching it for strategy advices I suggest you look at microstakes vids instead... My rating: 8/10

What's funny is that if you PTR so many of those guys.... plenty of them are actually losing players? Does Andrew Robl actually make money? Might be going out on a limb, but I think there's still more money live for 'internet players' AINEC.

@gavinmace you have to consider that ptr tracking is flawed and only tracks the results since 2008 or something. in another interview robl was talking about the party days when he played the 100$ sngs with a ROI of 200% and made like 45k in a couple of hundered, he even shows the holdemmanager stats of his old computer at his parents house. some of the guys in the movie may not be the top dogs now, but they made shitloads of money anyway.
