Hi, Q on AA (28min) hand. I`ve stoved this range - JJ,99-88,AJs,AhTh,A9s-A8s,KhQh,KhJh,KhTh,QhJh,QTs,JhTh,J9s,Td7d,98s,7h6h,AJo, you have ~68% equity (there are no Ahxh possible combos which cuts down a ton of flush combos) i assume avg regular on Nl100 will jam this turn with 2p+ (AJ, A9 type) trying to get value from AQ AK, protecting from hearts, action killers etc, not putting too much though. You are getting 90 to 206 or you need ~29% equity for BE call. Even if he has a flush you have 20%

(why comment boxes have limits?) Anyways assuming you have 20% vs flush or straight, and you need 29%, I think its reasonable to assume this 9% difference is made up by him jamming worse 2nd best hands (definitely all sets, and quite a bit of 2 pair imo, AJ etc) for us to profitably call here. Could you expand your thoughts on this hand please?

Hey Halvadron, I actually stoved a few ranges after I uploaded the video. I found that I had roughly 27-35% equity versus reasonable ranges. It comes down to how many semi-bluffs he is shoving along with how many 2pairs. One big thing to remember is that a lot of 2p combos raise the flop a very large % of the time on that coordinated of a board. continued...

Anyway, I think I made a slightly bad fold there. I would never have bet/folded there at higher stakes and sometimes I think I get a little too cautious at lower stakes in vids. I would guess that on average, its may be very close, but as part of an overall game plan it is pretty bad to be bet/folding hands that strong. While I won't be playing him regularly, I still think bet/calling is best. Thanks for the question/analysis! I hope the rest of the vid was helpful.

Oh yeah, I think i was wrong with my starting range. He definitely fastplays most of his 2p and sets on the flop. Don`t really think he has enough if any semibluffs in his range here really. It`s 95% either straight/flush or worse hand for value. Still think its a call. Anyways thx for the vid. Whats up with your ftp ptr account? running bad?
