In his second year at Boston University, Asad stumbled upon and saw potential in the lucrative arena of online poker; by graduation, he was consistently beating high stakes heads up and short-handed cash games. Today, he's a heads up specialist with a strong theoretical background and sharply analytical style, and strives to maintain a zen-like approach to the mental and emotional aspects of poker. Asad produces HU and short-handed videos that focus on putting game theoretical strategy construction into accessible terms and bringing precise deductive hand reading to exploitative situations.
In 2010, he and some friends opened a Belgian style cafe in Boston called Saus, which specializes in authentic fries, waffles, and sandwiches (check out their website! www.eatfrites.com).
