Ryan Peterson

Ryan started playing poker in small home games circa 2004.  He won $500 in a freeroll and used that money to start bonus whoring Small Stakes Limit Hold'em.  He went to college at Penn State University and majored in Management with a minor in Information Systems and Statical Analysis.  Ryan also spent 9 years in the Army as a Civil Affairs Specialist and Combat Engineer.   He was playing for a living until UIGEA hit, then needed to get "a real job."  In the spring of 2009 he began to really miss poker and decided to start playing SNG's on Pokerstars.  To continue to improve, Ryan read every book he could find that was even remotely related to Tournament Poker.  He also got coaching from some of the best SNG coaches.  In September of 2010, his hourly rate from poker had far surpassed his hourly rate at his day job, so he decided to go "pro" again.

Ryan is specializing in Low to Mid Stakes 9 man turbo SNG's.  In addition to making videos for Bluefirepoker.com he coaches and stakes beginner and intermediate players.
