Alix started playing pokers in the 90's and started playing online from the beginning. Trying out almost every form of game he is currently playing PLO and NLHE mostly on French sites. He lives in Paris, France and graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, which is France's top Engineering school. He has had a career as a Telecom Engineer. He is the holder of two U.S. patents. Alix also had a go at quantitative finance, during which he was associated with Victor Niederhoffer (who is a hedge fund manager, best selling author, and statistician)
Alix has now turned the use of the scientific method to the field of poker, better suited in his opinion to study than the changing cycles of market moods.
