    Power of Nut Flush Draw?
    16 Jul 2010 at 10:34am

Hey BFP members just played this hand and sry if this seems standardish but I hav foun myself in these spots quite a bit recently and am unsure what the optimal play should be. Some cliff notes here the UTG player is playing very wide an over a small sample is running at 90/18 and an AFq of 60. whereas the BB is more of a standard player running at 23/4 and an AFq of 16. Originally I thought about raising the UTG's lead but was nervous about getting moremoney in when I didn't feel I needed to, but then when the BB and the UTG get it in I think I have to call? I did not expect the BB to have that hand I thought he would have a set/weakerer FD. But the other guy was a maniac.

But the other question I want to ask is that I know that  a naked flush draw isn't a great hnd in PLO but in multi way spots where a lot of money has gone in an there are obv chances of someone having the 2nd nut FD should I be getting it in. Thx

Well played. No point raising the flop, might as well try to draw in some others and get it multiway. Getting it in three-handed on an unpaired board with the naked NFD is never wrong. You generally always have your fair share of equity and at least one person crushed.
