    I'm so HUDless
    11 Jul 2012 at 1:55pm

Since the Merge update I haven't taken the time to get HEM working again and have been playing HUDless. I've noticed that I take much better notes and make smarter decisions based on the flow of the table, even though I'm missing some information from a HUD. FWIW I've been playing the micros on a small laptop screen and usually only 4 table.

Anybody else have thoughts on not using a HUD?

My theory has always been that you cant lose anything by having it up (since you can just ignore it) but you can possibly gain information. I dont rely on my HUD when playing. I dont think players should rely too much on their HUD in general when playing, specifically not at the expense of gameflow and player specific reads. Having said that I simply dont see a reason to pass on free (well 1 time payment I guess) info when it can be at your fingertips and used as little or as much as you want.

Table's flows is very important... That doesnt mind that you have to use more or less the HUD...

Some situations are more Hud's deppendent and viceversa...

Sometimes the hud shows some information that you cant believe it...

IMO... We have to use both... huds information and table's flow...
