I have been out of the poker loop for a while, and being Canadian haven't really been paying close attention to whats going on. Basically, have they released any information on when US players will be able to play on stars again?

As far as I know, the legislation process is happening state by state. Nevada has passed an internet gaming bill already, but that doesn't mean you can play on stars if you live in nevada. It means Nevadans can play on Nevadan sites. It's really stupid and will probably have an extremely small player pool. Playing on Pokerstars specifically seems like a huge long shot to me because of what they did. From what I've read, it seems as though the best and quickest scenario for U.S. players to be able to play on stars again would be if a federal bill passed during this upcoming presidential election then Pokerstars becomes a U.S. company or they may have to buy and reboot full tilt as an american company. Obviously, anyone can feel free to come tell me what I'm wrong about here and why but this seemed to be what I've gathered from the situation.

Okay....cus I am still very intently waiting for a second poker boom with the US being allowed to play legally. I can only imagine its in pokerstars best interest to have the US players playing, even if they have to give up some of the profits that the US players give them.
