Truly enjoyed watching you play live. We all through ups and downs, lately mostly downs, but I really like to hear your thought process live as the hands were developing. Please make more of these vid's.

I know what you are doing through.. Best thing right now that you can do is to go low to 3/6, maybe 2/4 grind alot and build some confidence. Maybe its just me but you seemed a bit scared in the beginning, and got a bit out of line when you were stuck. Its a bad cocktail to play high variance style when you are stuck. Other than that great thoughts, and it will eventually turn when your mindset is truely reset, and that you accept that the money is gone. Gl

Irockhoes is basically owning the comments section is 100% right. You are the best instructor on the site. DrGiggy is just fun to watch and Phil is just Phil. I love all your videos though sometimes I have to break them up since they are so in depth. Even really good players need a coach every once in awhile. I am the biggest tilt monkey and I can tell you that you are tilting. I can hear it in your voice. It's subtle tilt. Keep working......

..to par with my competition. It doesn't mean you aren't capable of it as you were a winner at one time, but I think it would behoove you to seek out a coach or good winning players and note the differences in their play with yours. Opening a HUD will also allow you to slow down your thought process and really dissect every situation and flush out your ranges. You don't have to always use one, but playing few tables and taking your time to sync your game a step ahead instead of behind will...

...then nothing is in your range for continuing. You have a lot of spots like these in your ranges that stronger players can easily exploit. During the two hours of this series I don't think I saw any double barrel bluffs, c/r bluffs that weren't big semi bluffs, or triple barrel bluffs. You are allowing your cards to determine your session which is why you feel so helpless everytime you log on. I have had to go through a few revolutions myself (usually every 6-8 months) to realize I am not up..

23min Turn with AK vs JayPez on table 4 I think is a good representation of why you are on a downswing. Your ranges are never changing and if they are it is for the more passive route instead of an aggressive one. This leads to you not being able to bluff at all and turns your hand face up in a lot of spots. What hands are you checking back an QQ7 two heart board that are continuing on a c/r to an A of heart turn? If you are folding AK, always betting Q or flush draw on the flop CO to SB,

I like when you play live much better then your other vids. I think you explain well why you do certain things. Me personally really cant watch some of your other vids where you talk about one hand for 25 mins or stop at every decision even though its standard stuff. So keep theese live videos coming, gj.

Samo I think this is an interesting concept but Id much rather you did a post game analysis because you didnt seem too confident here and you also didnt have the time to get as in depth like you usually do in your other vids.

you don't have to use the hud if you don't' want to. but i'm sure it would be helpful to analyze hands within the context of your own reads and players stats a few hours or days after a tough session when you have time to cool down

@psstsaygirl: (1) that really depends on my opponent. if I feel that the range of hands that he calls turn and folds river is high enough, then I would give up if called on the turn. this is a situation in which the players that decide on the turn whether or not to also call the river are very exploitable. so - the answer is that it is very opponent specific. (2) if I am not mistaken, foolmetwice is a very squeeze happy player - even against UTG raisers, and I would try to take advantage.

vini, I have always been against the use of a HUD for the reasons that I have given many times (I don't want to use it as a crutch - as a substitute for paying attention). however, my recent troubles at the table are definitely making me rethink the whole thing, and I might well decide to try out a HUD after all. thanks for the suggestion.

@BlueOrchid: I totally agree with you. The only benefit to a shove if he has a bs squeezing hand is that I don't let him see a free flop with which he can go with his hand. However, I do agree that your line would probably have been better in that instance.

@jaeffio and spiff21: yeah, I was in a really bad mental state when I played this session. I wanted to give you guys an insight of what it is like when a good player's game goes really awry. I did not mean to be complaining, and I surely agree that may well have contributed to my negative mindset. I am definitely intending to do an after-session review of this session as well in a subsequent video. I wanted to produce a live session and then my post-analysis later.

Niman a few questions. 1) 20 minutes in with ATs you talked about check raising the flop and bluffing clubs if/when they come. If a club hits the turn, are you going to bluff it and give up if called? Or are you planning on shoving the river if called on the turn. My guess is the latter but I'd like to know this. 2) Do you think that foolmetwice is going to be squeezing UTG raisers that often especially after showing you 67s on the other table? As soon as he squeezed those were my thoughts.

have you considered starting ot use a hud? the 1knl player pool is fairly small, so it wont be that useful, but there are a lot of things that you might be missing (for example, arvid2k7 might be a very aggressive player, but not so when squeezing out of position vs a mp raiser). also, a hud is useful because you can analyze hands after you are done with them to see where you are losing/making money.

I prefer an after session review when you are in this kind of mental state. You are whining too much and the video is barely instructive and definitely not constructive for me.

In the hand @16mins where you have AQs and call the ep raise and then back-raise over the squeeze from the blinds I think its one of the worst lines you could take. He's never folding TT+ AQ/AK and you are letting him dump all his crappy squeeze hands. Calling and shipping over his cb is far superior imo - hopefully not too results orientated :) Main advantages 1)you pick up his cb and 2) you get him to fold AK Love your videos btw. Keep the chin up!

Because of that I would recommend either only publishing the first part of the session where you're still fresh and trying to reduce complaining to a minimum or doing a session review of difficult spots.
