RE: playing anon on other site. Try Cake/power poker. You can change your name every week. If someone puts a note on you, the note sticks, but otherwise we will all be unable to find you again; great for a few weeks of vids. Plus, they have "pro tables" at 5/10. Love to see you play Doyle, Hoyt, Zig, Varkonyi, etc, as "Go Stillers!" or something like that :-) http://www.powerpoker.com/refer-a-friend/raisingcain/

Rock, we're half agreeing. I said to play this in a vacuum, since it's infrequent enough to not balance. Maybe I'm out of touch with the games, but I expect a cbet 90% of the time here, including from manny pocket pairs.

balance sake, esp in a age of online poker when games break so regularly as regs don't want to play one another, I would just play the hand for maximum profit .... also i don't mean you should just throw out balance etc I just mean in a spot as one off as this

Can you explain why you think someone would Cbet 90% here? I think once you flat a 4bet OOP 100bbs deep it's pretty rare for a reg to get hugely out of line, esp when at least 80% of his value 4bet range will be 99-KK and will most likely check behind, why worry about balance in a spot which is so rare and IMO not really that necessary. I agree with the argument that why should you worry about a play being exploitable if it's not being exploited? I don't like the idea of balancing just for

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't planning on IMing him anyways. As far as leading, it's a difficult thing to work out and balance, since it's not a situation you're in often. I think that in a vacuum, it's a bad idea to give him a chance to fold to a lead when he's going to cbet 90%+ here. I'd rather take that guaranteed $ and go from there.

Phil, just so you know twoshae is one if the biggest assholes around, he's just been perma banned from 2+2 etc so for your own mental sanity do not AIM him!! also he's a huge nit, if you ran a HUD he runs close to 15/11, no way is 4bet/calling with TT good vs him, I disagree that he/ or any reg would 3bet vs a fish lighter to that sizing when the fish only has 50bb, he cert does'nt... I really disliked the A2s hand in a 4bet pot, flatting OOP is gonna be so unprofitable, and you never rep 88 or

"I think you're wrong about not making a big impact in the whole scheme of things. You're at least a level above any other coach. " This. Please make a new advanced headsup series, that was the most awsome ive ever seen. A good option would be to do it with another sn, you could make a new account on a cake skin or something!

As far as anonymous screen names, I can't create another account on Tilt or Stars, of course. Maybe I can open some accounts on other sites that I've never played and record a bunch of sessions before releasing vids with my screen name. That way they aren't tainted by my image.

Phil, I really liked your $5/$10 NL series. I thought your comments about table talk in this video were well put, some people like to run their mouth but it really doesn't accomplish anything. They think they are being slick but the casual player sees through it way more often than they realize. Please make a PLO series in Feb. THANKS!

Fine vid of course, but for those of us who don't aspire to grind games populated with training site instructors and coaches: PLO please! I know the masses demand 6max NL, but could Bluefire implement an official minimum of PLO content?

hi phil, good vid, though i have one complaint. would it be possible to play on an anonymous screenname? i still thought the vid had a lot of good content, but everytime you're taking into account the fact that they know who you are, while pretty interesting novelty-wise, that's not really instructive for us. that being said, i still thought the vid was really good, just making suggestions for improvement!
