Man I have no clue what happens every month. I play a fair amount of poker, make a few bucks then spend a few to many and of course drink way too much. For the past 10 days I was at the bar on 9 of them, clearly not healthy. This is my way of training for vegas, drink all night and hopefully play a few donkaments all afternoon.

On that note, I am heading to Vegas on June 5th for 10 days where I will be staying at the Bellagio with JSnipes. Hopefully its not an overly degen trip (as if) and I can somehow break even between pit games, cash games, strippers, clubs and CC Roulette. Also would be ideal to bink one of the few tournaments I play. I will most likely just play 4 tournaments in the 1500-2500 range.

Once I get back from Vegas fresh off my 6 figure score I begin a sailing class with NLSoldier and JayRockets. This was all inspired by a MagicNinja post on 2p2, where in standard MagicNinja fashion he makes you feel like you are a bum doing nothing with your life (My mom might even agree). So hopefully this is the beginning of me getting off my ass more then I have lately. I also hope to start a 100 miles (running) 100 hours (poker, obv) month long prop bet around mid July.

Well thats about it for now, I will be sure to give an update or two from Vegas as I iinevitably get myself into trouble.

So around mid march before going to Cabo I completly busted my FTP account. So when I got back I was just playing on Cake and UB. Then I won 250 playing monopoly online and the money was sent on FTP. This was on April 1st. Here is my graph since

Hmm so its been a month since my last post. I feel slightly obligated to provide some update on mundane life (Only compared to March obv). This month has been mostly filled with baseball and drinking. I got a chance to see my Red Sox play the Angels in Anaheim which was fun. I also have been to two afternoon Padres games this year. The Padres are horrible but afternoon baseball with beer and hotdogs is always fun.

Other then that, I have just been going out on weekends and grinding all day. I have put in 40k hands of HU so far this month split between 1/2 and 2/4 (about 70% 1/2). It seems sitting at 1/2 and 2/4 on FTP and UB results in me getting tons more 1/2 action. The action is pretty consistent and I can maintain a pretty solid hourly, so it's not that bad.

I think May will be more of the same, except we have some awesome drinking holidays so that should be fun. I don't think I have any trips planned until June when I will be hitting up Vegas for a week or so on two different occasions. I lived in Vegas the last two summers, but I don't think I am going to do it this year. It just gets too expensive, I make no money (online or live) and I think a San Diego summer is going to be amazing.

I promise that I won't make a blog post as boring as this, I just felt compelled to update after a month hiatus.

Small Cabo TR

I was going to write some long detailed TR of going to Cabo. But then I realized everyday blurred together and were almost identical anyways. The group for this trip was me, Messiah (Dave), BikiniWax (Jason), Tommyhawkers (Tommy), CraigMarq (Craig/RedPro) and Kristen (RedPro GF)

Every morning we would wake up around 1030 and a chef would be making us some tasty breakfast. We would then either float in our pool for a bit or head over to the Sheraton resort nextdoor to drink in the pool bar. Sheraton wasnt really a spring break destination and was mainly filled with HS kids with their parents and a few groups in their mid to late 20's and tons of older couples. Then we would go downtown for some dinner and head over to a bar for pregaming. After that we would go to the club where over the course of the week 60+ bottles of grey goose were purchased. Every mexican worker in the club loved us, we could have gotten away with legit murder.

Ok there were prolly a few pretty awesome storties from this trip that need to be shared.

#1 has to do with the picture posted in the previous post. Her and her friend were just utter trash and had to be strippers somewhere. At one point she was lying on a table with her short skirt around her stomach (wearing no underwear) with her top off. I was pretty sure she was going to have sex on that table with this 40 year old guy. This all happened at like 9pm and really set the night up.

#2 Has to be the best quote of the trip which was kind of fitting. "We're grown ass men" On our first full day there we went down to the main beach and went to go grab lunch at some mexican place. 3 people in the group order chicken fajitas. The guy repeats it a few times and it really sounds like he says fajitias. He then brings out the order and obv there are 3 orders of chicken fingers. He trys to protest that we did order the fingers and a few comments are exchanged before Craig goes "We did not order chicken fingers, We're grown ass men" Which is pretty fitting because we were obv a bunch of 23 and 24 year old guys around a bunch of kids aged 18-21 (and some 16 like the ones that called me and Dave too old when one of the mexican workers brought them to our table at the club. I even told them I was 22 at first when I am 24 hahaha)

Story #3 was our last full day in Cabo. Everyone else was dead so Dave and I went over to the Sheraton where we met these 4 girls in there late 20's (maybe one or two were 30)who were all physician assistants. We basically spent the entire day making fun of eachother and they kept calling us our cougar bait. Somehow they are not too old for facebook so in the next few days I should be able to locate a picture. During this drinking day I drank a bunch of Long Island Iced Teas and Margaritas so that when Dave and I went home we passed out. We missed all of their texts calling us man meat and cougar bait and asking us to join them at the bar. Ohh well, still the best afternoon of the week.

Back from LA on my way to Austin

Since the last update nothing too exciting happened. I stayed in LA until monday night and played a total fo 10 hours live (+7K wee). All my profits came from 2 outing someone for a 6K pot which was really nice. Other then that, the highlight of LA had to be running in Clowwwwwwwnie Gowen at the seediest most disgusting strip club in all of LA.

It was like 3am and our entire party is rather drunk. In walks Clonie and being the cougar she is, she is in the arm of some 23ish year old guy. My drunk finnish friend who sounds like a cross between Arnold and Borat yells her name and she turns and looks at us with this look of disgust and just bolts out the front door. It was pretty awesome.Other then that I ate at Matsuhisa (aka Nobu Matsuhisa) and the food was amazing. Ate so much nigiri, kobe and other delicious food.

On Tuesday I was back in San Diego and a large portion of downtown was closed off for a mardi gras celebration. Meet up with some friends down there around 9pm and drank hurricanes and beer and saw a couple gilrs degrade themselves for beads. All in all a good time, makes me realize that next year I should try and do it for real in N'awlins.

I am now on my way to Austin to go meet up with a friend who just moved there. Everyone seems to really love it there, so we shall see if it lives up to the hype.

I'm in LA trick

I highly doubt many "tricks" read my blog. But that god damn song is catchy. Anyways, I drove up to LA last friday for my boy Far's birthday (Stickypiff). Went to some club Foxtail in West Hollywood where things started to get blurry around 1am but I think I had a good time. At least until they made me go eat some nasty fucking Dennys at 3am which did not make Saturday start off good.

On Saturday Far, his girl, Bryan (KUSH OR DIE) and Lior (Cap_Of_Water) all went to Goku Kyu (or something). It was like a Korean BBQ place but it was japanese instead. We basically just grilled a bunch of meat and veggies and I downed 3-4 large saporros. We finished up the meal around midnight but Lior and I decided we still had to go out. We went back into West Hollywood and went to this club Kress where we met up with JohhnyCosmo. We didnt get in until almost 1 but was still a fun time for the hour or so. Think we are going to try and get a table there this week/weekend.

So I have been in LA for almost a week and have still not played a hand of live cash. I have just been playing online and running super good so have just been sticking with that instead of hanging out with the dredge of society. Maybe I will make it over there to play live this weekend.

Kinda wanted to delete this hmmm.. guess it's too late. If aynone knows how to post hands in here let me know. I tried a ton of converters and different formats but I must be retarded.

Guess I will give a small update. Nothing too exciting last few days just been running hot and playing only like 600 hands a day. I have also watched a ton of movies from Frost Nixon, Slumdog Millionaire, Taken, An American Crime, Traitor, Part of Max Payne, Bolt and I think a few others. Frost Nixon was amazing and my favorite of the bunch Slumdog and Taken were both als enjoyable. An American Crime was one fucked up and depressing movie, and kind of hard to watch at times.

Tomorrow I am going to some Northeastern Alumni type thing where we are getting together in a bar in San Diego to watch the finals of the Beanpot. For those unaware its a 4 team hockey tournament between Northeastern, Harvard, Boston College and Boston University. #4 Ranked Northeastern is playing #1 ranked BU in the finals tomorrow so it should be a good time. Also will provide a good excuse for happy hour drinking, which is one of my favorite things.

Football sucks

Reason #1: Playing flag football last saturday I collided with a guy in the air. I laned on my side and he came down on top of me. I still can barely lift my arm above my head.

Reason #2: Super bowl squares. I had AZ 4 and PIT 0 so I was 2 yards away from 25K at halftime and then 4 minutes and a offensive holding call away from 50k at the end of the game.

Overall though the superbowl was pretty sweet. Went to a friends place in SD where we had tons of food and beer and of course a topless waitress/bartender. She sure made it easier to find seats as everyone spent the night chatting her up.

Other then that just been playing some poker and my much due upswing is finally in motion. Here is my last 48 hours all at 2/4 HU

Back from Vegas

So im writing this blog entry from an airplane, which seems like the cool thing to do. I decided to avoid the degenpit known as Vegas for Super Bowl Weekend and fly back to San Diego instead. All in all the week in Vegas was pretty fun. As previously told we arrived at Vegas at 8am monday morning and went straight to the Rhino (GG monies). I checked into a hotel around noon and slept until 6pm. It was then Naked Fish time nomnomnom. Always delicious and a special thanks to Tommyhawkers for showing up two thirds of the way through dinner and covering the 500 dollar bill after barely eating. After that we booked it over to the new Wynn tower Encore where we had reservations for XS. Of course being with a bunch of poker players ment we would arrive an hour late and our table got bumped!! Wish we were balla enough to get our way in, but instead we had to "settle" for Tryst. We ripped through 4 bottles of grey goose while we were there and I blacked out before 2am. The next thing I remember was being at the Rhino getting dances from some girl. I knew I had only 200 in my wallet (lol busto) so I told her thats all I could spend. When the time was up I only had a single 100 dollar bill in my wallet, so I gave it to her and told her I would find my friends to borrow another 100. Instead I hopped in a cab and went back to the Wynn...OWNED!!!

So I get back to the Wynn and Joe/Magistr_Ludi comes and meets up with me and we play some blackjack drink some more beers. Somehow I was up until noon and realized Tommy was not in the room, so GL to him where ever the fuck he ended up that night because he was an incoherent drunk. So like any other night in Vegas I went to bed at around noon and woke up around 6 and rinse and repeat did the same exact thing Saturday night, except we went to Bank instead of Tryst. God I love/hate Vegas.

Sunday afternoon when I woke up, I went over to Joe's house (He lives at Raptors place) and just spent the week there playing tons of breakeven poker and avoiding the degen side of Vegas. Yesterday afternoon I realized if I spent another weekend in Vegas I would wake up broke and with diseases so I booked a flight back to San Diego. Should still be an amazing weekend with flag football tomorrow then obv the Super Bowl on Sunday. I kinda want AZ to win but I don't really care as long as my Super Bowl Square of AZ 4 and PIT 0 hits. Its 50k for final score, 25K for halftime and 12.5k for each quarter. Epic party at my house if we win imo.

So last night a bunch of us were at a club in downtown SD and before I know it, im in the back seat of my buddys car on my way to Vegas. Of course we arrive at like 8am and go spend 4 hours at the Rhino. While at the Rhino I learned one awesome story.

Jamie Gold is a freak and a weird dude. He had this stripper turn his ass red and welted with a studded leather paddle. He also applied nipple clamps until his nipples were bleeding.

Hopefully the rest of this trip provides just as much fun. I think we are going to Naked Fish in a few for dinner then we got a table set up at XS. Heard good things about the new club at Encore so this should be a blast.

Tilt Issues

So sometimes while playing I get extremely irritable and decide to throw the closest object to me. This is something I should work on, but for now here are the results of the other night. I basically launched this plastic cup of salsa like Ichiro throwing a seed to homeplate from the warning track. This mess was not fun to clean after. I think point of contact was above the far left picture, but we would really need Dexter to do some blood splatter analysis or something.

A drunken lazy 2009

I came into 2009 with the goal to play 500k hands of HU.So far I have played no more then 2k hands. It seems like all the other blogs have some sweet graphs so I here is my graph for the last 3 months of 2008.These hands are 98% 1/2 HU.

Hopefully I can get motivated and maintain that 40k hands a month average for all of 2009. I think since NYE I have gone to the bar everyday except for 1. For NYE, me, mudbuddah, Tommy and his friend Pat all went to Stingaree in downtown SD for some bottle service. We were all blacked out before 11pm and no one remembers drinking a 600 dollar bottle of some champagne (that we have a receipt for,hopefully we didnt get scamed). I was also lucky enough to fade the 4 way 2k flip (not including the champagne) , so all in all it was an amazing night until we spent over an hour trying to flag down a cab. If I can locate the camera from that night I will put up some pics. But for now its gossip girl time.

What it be blog readers.

Some of you might know me as TeeJayOrTj on 2p2, others well you are in for a treat. I plan on keeping this blog post short and boring but the gist of my life is that I play this retarded poker game for a living.

I currently live in San Diego with 3 other poker players (Sponger, Jfish, Tommyhawkers), I just moved here from freezing cold Boston so the constant 70 degree weather is amazing. For 3 years I was a retarded limdonk, but I finally saw the light. These days I grind HU NL and after just finishing my 100k hands of 1/2 I am now going to grind some 2/4 for 100k hands. I was learning this game from the base up and wanted to make sure I had a firm grasp of the fundamentals before moving up. Overall I hope this blog will be an entertainging look into the life of a degen. I don't plan to talk much about the daily swings of playing HU poker, just more about the lifstyle and the trouble I get myself into.
