-Well I really didn't play too much this month due to some other work I was doing. But I've played okay when I did put in hands. I still did some stupid bluffs and bad call downs where I didn't want to believe the guy but I've really cut down on those. Anyways, here's looking back:

Mostly 6max but some HU and full ring play. I guess 13bb/100 isn't too bad but I could do way better at these stakes. We'll see next month.

-UFC 94: pretty much what I expected. Fitch > Gono, Guida > Diaz, Machida > Silva and GSP > Penn. I did pretty good this time around 8 for 10. Main event went just as I said, GSP took him down early and often. Ground and pound, DNA all over the mat. Towel gets thrown in.

Time to crash, and start out Feb strong in the morning.

I don't know if anyone else reading this is a hardcore MMA fan or not. I've been watching MMA since I was 11 or 12, way back before UFC got big. Anyways I just found something nice.

Joe Stevenson will crush Diego Sanchez such a high percentage of the time, that's printing money if that line doesn't change. I'm not telling anyone who doesn't already gamble to do this, I don't want to start any bad habits haha. But that's like AA vs KK right there + odds on your money, it's insane. I just hope the line doesn't change lol. But yeah, if you don't know fighters then don't do it. But I just wanted to point it out, if there's any fans here.

I really haven't played too much lately, I'm just really having a hard time getting a long session in. I've only played 700-800 hands in the last 5 days, I'm working on it. I think I just needed an unplug for a few days. Hit my first royal earlier today, so I better throw up a screen. He flipped 98hh.

But yeah... lunch time and then back to the tables.

I didn't get in too many hands but I ran ok. I didn't have any interesting spots that I can find, I just spent 25 minutes looking for a good hand to post. They all seem pretty standard ABC for NL100 and NL50. I guess I'll just throw up a HEM snap of yesterday and today.

Like I said, pretty standard play at NL100 and NL50. I actually just had an idea to take a glance at the last 2 days by table, so I'll go ahead and post a shot of that.

I just wanted to post a pic to refer to so I could talk about stats for a min. As you can see there's no VPIP I try to lock onto. There's no 3bet, Cbet or AF I'm shooting for. Every call, raise and fold is situational. I was a winner playing 11/7 on one table, 21/16 on a different one and 32/26 on another.

Well my plan Tuesday was to wake up early and put in 10+ hours of playing but by the time I woke up at 4PM, there wasn't even 10 hours left in the day haha. But it's all good. I probably needed the sleep. I've only put in 600 hands or so today for 2.4 BI's @ NL50. I moved down a level for a bit to work on my blind play with big cards and small pairs vs LP opens from positionally aware opponents. But I'll play NL100 after lunch when the traffic is heavier. Just felt like posting an update. I'll post something better tonight after I get 1.5-2k hands in.

Thought I'd throw up a blog to give me something extra to do. First off if anyone wants to talk poker or go over hands or session reviews or whatever, I'm down. My MSN is Prolifik0119@live.com. This is my number one priority right now so you can probably find me online 10-12+ hours a day. My long-term goal is to earn a blackbelt in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu. Eddie Bravo is a wizard, 10th Planet is the nuts. Anyways I want to have my own 10th Planet school. I want to be able to roll all the time and keep evolving the game. Poker is the road to that goal, hopefully.

My main game right now is NL100 6max. But I play HU and FR too. End of last year my bb/100:

6max: 6.44 @ ~78k hands. This was mid-Nov thru Dec 31.

HU: 15.99 @ ~9600. This was just christmas week.

FR: 4.55 @ 17k hands.  This was Nov-Dec too.

So far this month:

I really haven't played very much because I got a slow start but I'm on top of it now. My last week has been great. I took all the numbers off my HUD. Now I have it where if I want to see the stats I have to hover over the name, but I only use them on tough calls where I don't have any showdown reads on a guy yet. I think this definately makes me pay more attention and I've been getting much more useful reads on guys. The last 4 days I've played ~11k hands and done pretty good, mostly the 6max line on the pic above. Playing a little tight because I'm shortrolled. Hopefully I can stay over 10bb/100 @ NL100. My poker rule/guideline is, "If you want to go fast, go slow." This means if you want to improve as quick as you can, slow down and understand every play thats made. Try to understand your opponents thought process and make them choose -EV lines by knowing what they're going to do before they do. Most players don't think about the next street until the card is dealt.

But anyways it's Jan 19th, my birthday. I'm 22 now, crazy haha. I'm gonna eat some food and get some hands in. Later.
