After losing a bunch of money on FTP i have moved over to iPoker where i know my moneys safe, unfortunately my tracking software (Pokertracker3) HUD doesn't behave on the 6-max tables which was where i had planned on playing mainly. Anyways after a bit of messing around with 60$ on Pokerstars and losing all but $20 playing 5NL i decided to use the money i had left on iPoker to try and rebuild a roll. I have always been intriged by HU poker and played probably around 20K hands here and there during my previous time online. Anyway, after rewatching a bunch of Phils videos on theory i decided that was where i would direct my focus for the future, planning on playing 1-2K hands per day of HU. Atm my multitable skills are severly lacking and i really struggle (its probably -EV in fact) for me to play 3 different players HU. Anyway, i had £500 on there, so i set off playing 20NL (£, Euro and $) HU tables, overall the level is lol in terms of spewyness. Coming from a FR background i asked a friend who plays HU MSNL what he thought the biggest leaks he see's in low stakes HU players is, especially those making the transition from ring games. He said that generally people don't give there opponents enough credit for a hand, and also players assume reads without going to showdown. With that in the forefront of my mind i have made a few pretty big folds here and there so far, and been very non-spewy versus players who are stupidly aggressive preflop but without any balance in their value betting / bluff ranges postflop. Another method i am using is i have a free program called RecordPad installed on my desktop which i use as a dictaphone, so whenever i make a read on an opponent i simply babble my thoughts into my microphone, this allows me to miss less while playing and to make much better notes than i could during the game. It seriously feels like printing money atm, i have moved to 50NL now, so hopefully with some more work i can make it up to MSNL. GL at the tables everyone...
