After nearly 2 years of thinking about doing it and 6 months of pretty intense work I've finally finished Pokermetrics.
Since I've started playing poker I've been obessed with data and specifically how winning players approach them game. Is A6s-A9s a profitable open utg? Is A2-8o a profitable open in the CO? What is the 3B frequency of a winning player and how much does he make 3B'ing? How does he construct his range?
I use that information to evaluate my game and figure out where I'm missing value.
Up to this point there's really been no hard data. We have conventional wisdom which is usually going to be close, but I want more than just close. And now I have what I want.
