Soooo, WSOP is getting super super close and most tournaments start at noon. For someone that regularly wakes at 3-4pm, a dilemma is to be had. Of course! I have a solution. Re-cycle my schedule. Alright, so normally I get to bed at about 6-8 and wake around 4. Two methods to change this, one is to wake by alarm super early and reset that way. Method two: Stay up later and later until I wake at the time I want to.
Day 1: Wake at 4pm, stay up 25 hours and get to bed at 5pm, wake at midnight. So far, so good.
Day 2: Wake at midnight, stay up 27 hours, get to bed at 3am.
Whew, did it, with 8-9 hours of sleep, I'll be up before noon.
Wake at 4pm. Back to where I started! fml

Haven't played games in years. Just purchased the Starcraft 2 beta because my friend is here playing it and it looks cool. I've never played it before.
If anyone is really good, I'd be willing to pay $30 or so an hour to get me good faster.
Thanks

Had a mini-bfp meet up at the Venetian this weekend with members: aaronpope, irwinfletcher and aaron's friend Paul. Started out with dinner and we were chit chatting for a bit. It was actually pretty cool, I haven't met any bluefire members before and they didn't disappoint, ready to have a good time. After some time, I brought up the story of me failing an eating challenge a couple weeks ago, for those that haven't read Jason's blog,
"We ended up getting food at 5 or 6am and before long, Don had several props going that he could eat several orders of a huge entree. He started just destroying his first plate and ate so quickly he wouldn't even talk to us. While he was convinced that this was going to be super easy, he ended up conceding pretty early on in the second plate. Almost everyone I know would eat until they couldn't anymore trying to win the bet. Don, though, decided that it was unlikely he would finish and didn't want to be uncomfortable and still lose the bet, so he gave up early. I am not sure yet if that was really smart or a little weak."
After some deliberation, Aaron thought he could re-coop his craps losses with the challenge:
The food:

Aaron:

Aaron smashed the first plate in 14 minutes. Things weren't looking good for those that bet against him. I likely would have bought out for the half the bet at this point; however, much like myself, he hit a wall 1/4 through the second plate. This was actually the point that I originally quit. Not Aaron though, he was determined to get through this mountain of food. His pace certainly slowed and about halfway through the second point, he decided to take a 30 minute break.
It was quite entertaining, various waitstaff and management came by to check on the progress and seemed generally amused by the entire spectacle. irwinfletcher and I were goading him a bit, but a table full of girls nearby were rooting him on
The girls:

At this point, Aaron seemed reinvigorated and started eating again. Despite the enthusiasm, he was taking a bite only every ten minutes or so and it was pretty clear he was in pain. A fan of schadenfreude myself, even if I lost, well worth it for sure.
Even with the slow pace, Aaron started getting cocky, doing the robot and posing, likely in an attempt for the bettors to offer a buyout.
Getting Cocky with Paul:

Despite the very strong effort, Aaron looked like he was about to die and conceded the bet, with 1/3 left on the second plate. Fortunately for everyone at home, we decided not to take the pictures of Aaron puking off the 9th floor of the Venetian parking lot.
Very cool experience! Glad to have met you guys as well.

forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19/high-stakes-pl-nl/stoxtrader-cheating-multi-accounting-discussion-733894/
Some shady stuff going, then viffer posts,
"- CR HATED Stox then miraculously merged with them. I assume this was bc Stox offered them an insane amount of equity to merge with them bc Nick knew eventually this would get out and they wanted CR brand as backup.
-Nick was never in the picture. He made Jim Varnon (Stox COO and lying scumbag) handle everything. He was always playing and when questioned about his results as they didn't show up on PTR, he quickly would say he didn't play much anymore and was with his family.
- Nick and CR steal from FTP. They have (www.trulyfreepokertraining.com) program where you sign up for Stox and CR memberships and earn them by earning FTP points. At the end of the month we email FTP a list of the accounts that earned them and they reimburse them for it. However, some people only signed up for one site but earned a ton of points. Nick would tell the employees to just create StoxPoker names for these members (regardless if they wanted it or not) just so they could get paid for them by FTP. When questioned about this, Nick would say it was perfectly fine and not to worry about it. He basically cheats FTP each month by faking membership interest just because people earn enough points but don't want to sign up for the free Stox (Still have a few of these emails I think).
-Leatherass is somehow involved between the cheating issues. LA was part owner of Stox. When he left, for some reason he told people he couldn't negotiate equity in the company (which is false since he was already owner).
- CR is scum and cheaters. EVERYONE at CR knew Brian Townsend played on multiple accounts. Lee knew, Taylor knew, I knew, everyone knew. In summer 2008 when everyone said BT wasn't playing much anymore I told them he was on other accounts. Nobody believed me. CR tried to cover it up like they didn't know. In fact, during this, Taylor told Brian to set up an office and call it his "CardRunners" office. Basically though it was where he'd go to play on his assistants account under a differen't IP address.
- Taylor has played on other CR guys accounts right in front of me. Once, the old marketing director Ezra was getting destroyed playing someone HU so Taylor played for him. Taylor told everyone in the room never to say anything about it.
- I wouldn't be surprised if CR knows about these cheating allegations with Nick.
-Both companies are complete scum, unethical, and greedy.
- Stox doesn't even watch videos before they go up. They pay anyone who approaches them just to have a video up for the day.
-In fact I wanted to **** with CR one month so I had my friend who's horrible make a video. I told CR it was good video and to watch it. Next thing I know it was on the site the following week. Never did they even review the content of it or they would have seen it was horrible and a joke.
i also believe 2p2 has has hidden enough information about their paying customers,
how much does cardrunners and stox pay 2p2 because as soon as any thing bad is said about them it gets taken down.
if they are heating fulltilt i think tilt p[ays you guys more!!!!!"
Pretty quickly, he received a (temporary?) ban from twoplustwo, who receives a lot of advertising money from cr/stox.
Spread the word!
free viffer!!

At the Venetian with a friend the other night. We were just hanging and getting some free drinks. We lost all of our money and were content to go home and watch a movie. I looked in my wallet and found $140 dollars. Obviously, we surrounded a number in roulette and binked. Then we let it ride around another number and bink again. After hugging it out, I realized how surreal this was. There was a crowd of people around us watching us get paid out, this lady said "everyone is watching you guys", I turned around and indeed, everyone was. it was about a twenty minute ordeal with them figuring the exact amount.
The lady then mentioned "I tried the same, betting twenty for a meal and I couldn't make it". I sort of just turned away to enjoy the moment and didn't think much of it. I get tapped on the shoulder, "you know, can I get a little present to get something to eat". I've had a lot of practice saying no to people lately and said "I don't think I can do that". Right play?
A lot of people as of late have been hitting me up for favors or for me to give them this or that and it's been pretty annoying. Very much reminds me of this situation. ugh.
I used to say yes to everyone just to avoid conflict. As of late, if I don't respect someone or anything about them, I'd much rather ignore them or say no then have to deal with them in my life. Right play?
Anyway, on the road starting tomorrow or Sunday, LA trip, no idea when I'm coming back.
bye.

Ate at a fancy restaurant last night and got the tasting menu.
Sweetbread is not what you think it is (I was thinking of a glorified doughnut), rather, ... "Sweetbreads are the thymus (throat sweetbread) and the pancreas (heart or stomach sweetbread), especially of the calf and lamb (althoughbeef and pork sweetbreads are also eaten)." Never order it.
