So there has been a lot going on in my personal life and haven't gotten in much poker in the last month.  Too many personal problems getting in the way so I was playing as little as possible.  Things where turning around the last week so decided to get back to the tables.  Last time I posted I was a little ahead can't remember how much but I wouldn't be bragging about it.  Any how going into my little time off I was starting a straight nose dive.  Think I almost washed out my FTP account and was not leaving my self in a good spot.  So I up and vanished but I started to play a git more last week.  In fact I decided to get online and play mini FTOPS events last week.  I was going to buy in to the 6man and the ME but won seats for both.  Went super deep in the 6max KO. but took my QQ into KK DAMN IT.  Any how with my small ball long ball style I was able to collect a huge amount of bounties.  In the ME game my QQ got ran down by TT.  I three bet in position and a medium stack shoved, still have his move no matter how many times I think about it but I might be bias.  Any how bumped the account from nothing to 150$ so that was exciting (for me LOL).  I know this doesn't cover a buy in for other people but gotta start some where.
So after going deep in the FTOPS game I was super excited and started to pound out some games.  I decided that I am going to focus on MTTs for a while because they are very weak and I could use the big pay days at times.  Also at times I feel like I start to spew chips at the micro levels so would rather be playing tourneys where my chips are tools and not cash.  So I've been playing loads on UB this month (insert snickers here).  The overlays on their games are huge and the players are so soft.  The regs there think they are gods gift to poker which I find funny and it seems like they are happy playing against each other cause they all play so straight forward and face up (sorry if I offended any UB regs but I call it like I see it).  Of course I am playing the 20$ buy in games so perhaps things will change as I move up.

Any how Friday night I went to the final table in the 25$ 10GTD deep stack game (BTW there should be a rule against calling a 2000 starting stack deep with 12 min levels)  I didn't even deserve to make the money, cards sucked and I stole my way to the money.  Any how the top 45 got cash which I was excited about cause I didn't want to play the game to begin with.  I normally play the satellites and cash out the entries but our satellite ran late and couldn't.  Next thing I knew I made it to the final 15 by open shoving ever chance I got.  THEN A MIRACLE HAPPENED AND THE DECK CAME AROUND.  Not for the whole time but about an hour so I could take out a few guys.  Next thing I know I was the chip leader going to the FT.  Any how deck went cold again and the real piss off was the other three players where all in about 3 to 10 times each but managed to survive.  So eventually I get A9o which looked bigger then it was and shoved and got called by 99.  Was upset about not making the top three but at the same time I was ready to quit with my 60 so I decided to look at the game half full and rest easy.

Sorry for the rambling been a long time since I got my stuff together for a blog.  On another note didn't get in any live play, would have gotten destroyed.  Used all the money that I built up live paying bills and stuff so going to start fresh.  The good news is I got a little roll at UB to use now and I am going to focus on the tourneys for a while.  I think once I get about 50 buy ins for 100nl I might start to get into hold'em a little more.  Also working on the PLO( love the videos)  seems like such a soft game that it would be a shame not to take advantage.

Oh and one more funny thing.  I played a 50nl session this week and thought I got dealt KT, four bet shoved and turned out I had K4. almost went runner runner flush but now that I am over it I think it was funny.

So I am not the greatest on line ring game player and I lost a lot of races this week.  Got myself into one really bad spot but I am really trying to make those sexy moves that I keep seeing from my man drgiggy.  Online I am about even on the week after getting back into the sit and go realm.  WOW SNGs are easy.  I remember when I first started to play online and how I thought I was good ROFL I would go back in time with the So I am not the greatest on line ring game player and I lost a lot of races this week.  Got myself into one bad spot but I am really trying to make those sexy moves that I keep seeing from my man drgiggy. 

Online I am about even on the week after getting back into the sit and go realm.  WOW SNGs are easy.  I remember when I first started to play online and how I thought I was good ROFL I would go back in time with the DeLorean and kick my self in the nuts for the way I use to play.  Any how I am playing 6max 5$ while I try to build up about 500$ so that I can play all the mini FTOPS games.  I wanted to play more of the reg games but had a busy week of work and some other events on the go so had to pass on a lot of the games I wanted to play.


On the live game front I played well at the casino this week.  Up another 1/2 buyin at the 200nl tables and continue to feel like the cards are hard to come by.

This weeks live event highlight

Raise UTG 9 handed 35s to 3.5 BB ($7) I am about 200 deep and I get 6 to the flop K24o board (back door flush draw) I bet out 18 and get called by the blind TPP. Turn comes 4o so no flush draws. He checks turn and I bet 40 and he beats me into the pot.  River is a J and he checks I figure he has a PP so I check behind.  My opponent turns over 36 kicker plays I get up and look at the board and then my seat.  The asian guy who I have been talking to says "You have to get up to see that"  and I reply "No had to make sure I still had my balls after checking that behind."

I know Giggy, I know  NOT VERY SEXY :(

Well I am also going to be focusing some of my online energy at UB for their SNG leader boards.  It's set up nice because they take your best score for 20 games in a month or week.  So since I have a hard time playing quantity it should work out nice.

BTW Uber excited that I got 60 views even if 55 of them where disappoint to see the ramblings of a 25nl player who is working on beating the rake at his game.

Not much of a blogger but thought that since I have the account and I plan on making a lot of money I should get started on one.  Want to keep this light and fun for those who are interested on my journey up form 25nl. I also play some 200nl at my local casino. Not near enough rolled for this game but i find the players are so bad and on the weekends you can really cash in.  I mainly go to work on my live game and composure, I think that I am a huge tell box so I really want to be a better no tell player.

Never started with a BR for 200nl at the casino but I'm up a little more then a buy in a session for my two four hour sessions.  

Alright enough boring stuff time for the fun stories and interesting stuff...

So this weekend at my casino trip we have an open seat and some drunk sit down and has no clue about the game.  Now I'm not talking about your 20something player who has seen rounders and thinks they are god's gift to poker.  This guy is hammered and thought why not play poker?  So guy posts in MP and raises to 20 when it comes to him,  four callers and he bets pot on an ace high flop.  Turn is a blank bets another 20 and then on the river folds out of turn.  My eyes light up three hands later the guy raises $50 UTG into the $3 blinds.  Four more hands he's in the BB and I'm at the CO with TT, I pop it to $20 cause of all the limpers and get called in three spots, my friend, a donkey and a nit.  Flop comes down....

AQJ thanks a lot dealer,  my drunk leads in and with the nit behind me I know my friend is going to go broke.  Nit raise and the drunk turns over Q2 urgh I wanted to get in a hand so bad with him and the nit finds JJ for a set. The idiot at the table berates the guy a little as he's getting on his jacket.

Ended up about 160 for four and a half hours.  So A good night none the less.
